Because there aren't enough fractal programs on the web here is
mine. Still under construction, and rough in places, but you can get the
basic idea.
How it works
When loaded the page generates a new fractal. The first 32
fractals are generated at random, after that they are generated based on
the scores you have given to previous fractals. There is a slider
control under the canvas on the left, use that to score the current
fractal. Eventually, when you get a fractal you like, you can right
click on it and save to your computer or as wallpaper.
Controls
ClrMem When pressed this button clears out the history for the fractals you have scored, allowing you to start from scratch.
Slider Allows you to set the score of your fractal, the further to the right the more you like the current fractal.
Next Pressing the next button locks in the score for
the current fractal and generates the next one. The number in
parentheses tells you how many fractals you have generated.
Resolution The resolution of the fractal. The higher
the resolution the longer it takes to draw, normally keep this low and
pump it up for fractals you wish to save.
ReDraw Redraws the current fractal, use this if you have changed resolution or iterations.
Red,Green,Blue Allows you to see the different colors that make up the fractal
Iterations This allows you to set the number of
iterations to go through when making the fractal. Sometimes higher
iterations can bring out more details.
